Villanova will play Virginia and Virginia Tech will face Penn State in a doubleheader next November at CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore, multiple sources told College Hoops Today.
There is no timetable on an official announcement.
Both Villanova and Virginia have won national titles in the last decade.
Virginia Tech just finished its fifth season under Mike Young while Penn State just wrapped up its first year under Mike Rhoades, who previously was the head coach at VCU.
