Tennessee and NC State will meet next season in a neutral site game in Nashville, a source told College Hoops Today on Wednesday.
There is no timetable on an official announcement.
An official date is also TBD.
The game will feature a head-to-head meeting between Tennessee’s Rick Barnes and NC State’s Justin Gainey, who served as the Vols’ Associate Head Coach from 2022-26 prior to taking his current post in Raleigh.
Tennessee is currently ranked 18th in the ROTHSTEIN 45.
