Temple transfer Zach Hicks has committed to Penn State, he told College Hoops Today.
The 6-7 forward averaged 9.6 points and 5.1 rebounds last season.
“The main thing with Penn State was my connection with the coaches,” Hicks said. “The environment was away from things in its own little world. There’s no distractions. I can just go there and play basketball.”
The Nittany Lions are entering their first year under Mike Rhoades, who previously coached at VCU.
