Pitino versus Pitino at MSG?
You better believe it.
Just hours after Rick Pitino publicly announced on X that St. John’s hopes to begin a home-and-home series with Kentucky next season at Rupp Arena, College Hoops Today has learned that the Red Storm are also finalizing a game with New Mexico — who’s coached by Richard Pitino — at the World’s Most Famous Arena during the 2024-25 season.
There is no timetable on an official announcement, as both sides are still working to finalize a date.
The Lobos are currently ranked 45th in the ROTHSTEIN 45.
