Sources: Villanova’s Kyle Neptune finalizing deal to become the next head coach at Fordham.

Villanova’s Kyle Neptune is finalizing a deal to become the next head coach at Fordham, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the situation.

An official announcement is expected this week.

He replaces Jeff Neubauer, who was fired in February.

Neptune has served as an assistant under Jay Wright for eight seasons. The Wildcats won the national title in both 2016 and 2018.

The blog “Daly Dose of Hoops” first mentioned Neptune as a primary candidate.
