Villanova and Virginia have finalized plans to play in the “Holiday Hoops Classic” on Dec. 19th at Madison Square Garden, according to multiple sources close to the situation.
Tip off will be at 8 PM ET and the game can be seen nationally on FOX.
There will be no fans in attendance.
Both teams are currently ranked in this week’s ROTHSTEIN 45.
The game represents a showdown between college basketball’s last two national champions.
Virginia leads the all-time series between the two schools 5-3.
