Loyola Chicago has agreed in principle to hire Drew Valentine as its next head basketball coach, according to a source with direct knowledge of the situation.
An official announcement is expected soon.
Valentine has been a key assistant for the Ramblers under Porter Moser, who took the Oklahoma job on Friday.
The 30-year old Valentine is the brother of former Michigan State and current Chicago Bulls guard Denzel Valentine.
