Eastern Washington’s Shantay Legans is finalizing a deal to become the next head coach at Portland, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the situation.
An official announcement is expected soon.
Legans was 75-48 in four seasons at Eastern Washington. The Eagles lost in the Round of 64 in the NCAA Tournament to Kansas on Saturday.
