Cincinnati is expected to part ways with John Brannen, a source said on Friday.
An official announcement is expected soon.
Brannen had been placed on administrative leave following an internal investigation following the conclusion of the Bearcats’ regular season.
He went 32-21 in two seasons at Cincinnati and led the Bearcats to a share of the American Athletic Conference regular season title last year.
Brannen was previously the head coach at Northern Kentucky.
