Charleston’s Pat Kelsey is set to receive a long-term contract extension, multiple sources told College Hoops Today.
An official announcement is expected soon.
While exact terms are unknown, the school has made “a significant commitment” to Kelsey.
The Cougars finished the regular season at 28-3 and will next play in the CAA Tournament.
Kelsey was previously the head coach of Winthrop from 2012-21, where he led the Eagles to multiple appearances in the NCAA Tournament.
