Baylor’s quest to reach the 2021 Final Four in Indianapolis will begin with a vicious start.
The Bears are tentatively set to open the 20-21 season in the Empire Classic at Mohegan Sun along with Villanova, Michigan, and NC State. Official matchups for the event are to be determined.
Scott Drew’s squad is then scheduled to leave Connecticut and play at Seton Hall as part of the Big East-Big 12 Battle, according to a source.
Following that game, Baylor will fly to Orlando and play Rutgers as part of the Jimmy V Classic. An additional game in Orlando or at another location against Gonzaga is also potentially on the table during that time frame.
That’s five straight games against five potential NCAA Tournament teams to start the year!
Baylor is currently ranked second in the ROTHSTEIN 45.
