Notre Dame transfer Cormac Ryan has committed to North Carolina, he told College Hoops Today.
The 6-5 guard averaged 12.3 points and four rebounds last season.
“I’m really excited about my decision,” Ryan said. “I’m excited to be on a great team with great people. I’m also very excited about my role. Coach (Hubert) Davis told me that they needed my shooting, but he also wants me to bring my whole game.”
The Tar Heels are currently ranked 34th in the ROTHSTEIN 45.
Dick Vitale first tweeted on Thursday that Ryan’s commitment was a possibility.
