Colorado State returns everyone of significance from last season’s team that won 20 games, but that hasn’t hindered Niko Medved’s excitement for one particular newcomer.
“I think Chandler Jacobs will be one of the most athletic players in the Mountain West,” Medved said this week on the College Hoops Today Podcast. “He has a chance to really make an impact for us.”
A 6-3 guard, Jacobs is a Division II transfer from Dallas Baptist who initially committed to Texas Tech as a graduate transfer. Jacobs was an All-American last season and averaged 20.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.5 steals last season.
Colorado State is currently ranked 43rd in the ROTHSTEIN 45.
