Mark Schmidt isn’t mincing words.
Not with five starters back who all averaged double figures on last season’s team that went to the NCAA Tournament and lost to LSU in the Round of 64.
“This team has the opportunity to have a special year,” Schmidt said Monday on the College Hoops Today Podcast. “I’ve never had a team that has five starters back and five starters back who are this talented. The guys though need to understand that it’s not just going to happen. We’re usually the team that’s going after other teams. Now teams are going to be coming after us.”
St. Bonaventure is currently ranked 20th in the ROTHSTEIN 45.
