Kansas State transfer Nijel Pack commits to Miami

Kansas State transfer Nijel Pack has committed to Miami, he told College Hoops Today on Saturday.

The 6-foot guard was widely viewed as one of the top transfers on the market and averaged 17.4 points and 3.8 rebounds last season.

Pack also shot 40 percent or better from three-point range during each of the first two years of his college career.

“Coach Jim Larranaga is a great coach with a proven track record,” Pack told College Hoops Today. “They had a really good season last year, going all the way to the Elite Eight. They have a really good nucleus of players going back next season as well. I’m confident that we can pick up where they left off.”

Miami finished 26-11 last season and lost in the Elite Eight to Kansas.
