Iowa’s Luka Garza is the College Hoops Today National Player of the Year

This is March!

That means it’s time for some end of season awards.

Check out below for an in-depth list of the top players in college basketball during the 20-21 season, featuring the College Hoops Today National Player of the Year and our first, second, and third team All-Americans:

College Hoops Today National Player of the Year

Iowa’s Luka Garza: Illinois’ Ayo Dosunmu was a close second for this award, but it ultimately goes to Garza. College basketball hasn’t had a player this decorated over a four-year career since Tyler Hansbrough was at North Carolina. The 6-11 big man has gotten better every season, as evidenced by his ability to shoot a blistering 45.5 percent from three-point range this year as a senior. Garza shot just 29.2 percent from long distance as a junior. He also has had nine games this season with at least 20 points and 10 rebounds.
