Cameron Boozer, Duke: The expectations were massive for Boozer before he ever stepped on campus in Durham and he’s usurped all of them. The son of former NBA and Blue Devils star Carlos Boozer, Cameron Boozer has been the best player on the best team in college basketball this season all while leading Duke in scoring (22.6), rebounding (10.0), assists (4.0), and steals (1.6). He’s also shooting a ridiculous 58.3 percent from the field and 40.4 percent from three-point range. This 6-9 freshman has had this award locked up since late-November.
