Big Ten planning to stay at 20 league games, only have 15 teams in Big Ten Tournament in 2024-25

The Big Ten is planning to stay at 20 league games when the league expands to 18 teams and adds UCLA, USC, Oregon, and Washington during the 2024-25 season, multiple sources told College Hoops Today.

An official announcement is expected soon.

The conference is also planning to have only 15 teams participate in the Big Ten Tournament starting in 2024-25.

College Hoops Today previously reported that momentum was growing to only have 14 or 15 teams in the Big Ten Tournament when the league adds UCLA, USC, Oregon, and Washington.
