Arizona State transfer DJ Horne has committed to NC State, he told College Hoops Today on Monday.
A 6-1 guard, Horne is a Raleigh native who averaged 12.1 points last season while shooting 35.5 percent from three-point range. He averaged 18.5 points in two NCAA Tournament games.
“I always wanted the opportunity to play at home,” Horne told College Hoops Today. “I definitely fit NC State’s style of play. There’s no better place for me to play during my last year of college basketball.”
NC State finished 23-11 last season and lost to Creighton in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
