Arizona, Florida finalizing agreement to headline opening night doubleheader in Las Vegas alongside BYU/Villanova

Arizona and Florida are finalizing an agreement to meet on Nov. 3rd, 2025 — the first night of the 2025-26 college basketball season — at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, multiple sources told College Hoops Today.

College Hoops Today previously reported that BYU would face Villanova in Sin City on opening night of the 2025-26 season, but the matchup between Arizona and Florida — the defending national champion — is a new addition.

Official tip-off times are TBD.

An official announcement is expected soon.

BYU, Arizona, and Florida are all ranked in the Top 20 of the ROTHSTEIN 45.
