7. Gonzaga: Will next play Texas Tech on Saturday in Phoenix. 

8. Villanova: Lost to three of the top four teams that are ranked above. 

9. Kansas: 20-4 over the past two years when David McCormack scores in double figures. 

10. Michigan State: Tyson Walker has 28 assists in his last four games. 

11. Auburn: The highest ceiling in the SEC.

25. Illinois: Andre Curbelo hasn’t played since Nov. 23rd. 

26. West Virginia: Taz Sherman and Sean McNeil are carrying the load. 

27. Providence: Saturday’s Big East opener at UConn will be a war. 

28. Texas Tech: Elite defensively.

29. Tennessee: Will play both Memphis and Arizona before beginning SEC play. 

30. Creighton: Ryan Hawkins is an under-the-radar transfer. 

31. BYU: Need more of a supporting cast for Alex Barcello.

32. Oklahoma: The whole is greater than the sum of the parts. 

33. Florida: Lost two of three.

34. Arkansas: Saturday’s loss to Oklahoma was a wake up call. 

35. St. Bonaventure: Need Kyle Lofton back ASAP. 

36. Marquette: Have won four games against power conference teams.

37. Minnesota: The surprise story in the Big Ten. 

38. Iona: Have a massive opportunity on Saturday at MSG against Seton Hall.

39. Saint Mary’s: Matthias Tass is shooting 63.6 percent from the field in his last four games.

40. San Francisco: Jamaree Bouyea — remember the name. 

41. Indiana: Could easily be undefeated. 

42. Loyola Chicago: Braden Norris made six three-point shots on Friday against Vanderbilt. 

43. DePaul: Tony Stubblefield is coaching his tail off. 

44. Wake Forest: Oklahoma transfer Alondes Williams had a triple-double against USC Upstate.

45. Northwestern: 2-0 with Chase Audige in the lineup.
