Robert Morris transfer AJ Bramah commits to Nevada

Robert Morris AJ Bramah transfer has committed to Nevada, he told College Hoops Today.

The 6-7 guard averaged 21 points and 10.3 rebounds last season and had previously committed to Arizona State before re-opening his recruitment.

“I feel like Nevada fits my style of play,” Bramah said. “I feel like they’ve got great guards and I can join them.”

Nevada’s returning backcourt of Grant Sherfield and Desmond Cambridge combined to average 34.9 points last season as the Wolf Pack finished 16-10 in Steve Alford’s second year in Reno. Don’t be shocked if Bramah quickly becomes the third offensive option in what could be a potent perimeter troika.

“Coach Alford told me that I could mesh with the guys that they have coming back,” Bramah said of Sherfield and Cambridge. “That was very appealing to me.”

In addition to Sherfield and Cambridge, Nevada also returns 7-foot big man Warren Washington (10 points, 5.9 rebounds) and adds Texas transfer Will Baker. The 6-2 Sherfield averaged 25.5 points in two games last March at the Mountain West Conference Tournament and should be the conference’s preseason player of the year.

Nevada is currently ranked 37th in the ROTHSTEIN 45.
