Maryland is finalizing a contract extension with Mark Turgeon, according to a source close to the situation.
Official terms have not been disclosed.
An announcement is expected soon.
The 56-year old Turgeon has led Maryland to five of the last six NCAA Tournaments.
The Terps finished 17-14 this past season and lost to Alabama in the Round of 32.
