Ohio State sophomore forward E.J. Liddell is day-to-day after being sidelined with an undisclosed illness, Buckeyes coach Chris Holtmann said Monday on the College Hoops Today Podcast.
Liddell did not play in Sunday’s win over Cleveland State, but was leading the Buckeyes in both scoring (15.5 PPG) and rebounding (7.5 RPG) through the team’s first four games.
Ohio State is currently 5-0 and ranked 32nd in this week’s edition of the ROTHSTEIN 45.
The Buckeyes will open Big Ten play on Wednesday night at Purdue and then face North Carolina on Saturday in the CBS Sports Classic in Cleveland.
