South Florida will replace Minnesota in the Hall-of-Fame Tip Off at Mohegan Sun, according to multiple sources with knowledge of the situation.
The rest of the field will include Virginia Tech, Temple, and Rhode Island.
Since South Florida and Temple are both members of the American Athletic Conference, the event will now be held in “showcase form”.
