Duke and Michigan State are in advanced discussions to meet next season in East Lansing, multiple sources told College Hoops Today.
The game — if it’s finalized — is expected to be played in December of 2025 and will be a return game from 2020 when the two programs met in the Champions Classic at Cameron Indoor Stadium during COVID.
An official date is still TBD.
Both programs are working with their respective conferences — the ACC and the Big Ten — to make the game happen next season.
Since both leagues play conference games in December, certain things would need to be amended from a scheduling perspective for both teams to be able to play head-to-head in East Lansing.
Duke has not played Michigan State on its campus since Dec. 3rd, 2019.
