Texas, Ohio State to open 2024-25 season at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas

Texas and Ohio State will open the 2024-25 college basketball season in a neutral site game at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Nov. 4th, multiple sources told College Hoops Today.

There is no timetable on an official announcement.

The Longhorns have advanced to back-to-back NCAA Tournaments under Rodney Terry while the Buckeyes are entering their first full season under Jake Diebler.

Both teams are currently ranked in the ROTHSTEIN 45.

  • Illinois, Duke to start home-and-home series in Durham
  • Florida, Miami to open 2026-27 on Nov. 2nd in neutral site game in Tampa
  • Virginia, Marquette, Texas A&M, and one team that’s TBD will headline one part of the 2026 Battle 4 Atlantis
