Purdue’s Zach Edey is College Hoops Today’s National Player of the Year

This is March!

That means it’s time for some end of season awards.

Check out below for an in-depth list of the top players in college basketball during the 2023-24 season, featuring the College Hoops Today National Player of the Year and our first, second, and third team All-Americans:

College Hoops Today National Player of the Year

Zach Edey, Purdue: Take the pictures and put them away because college basketball will likely not see a player like Edey for a long, long time. The 7-4 big man is going to be the first player to earn National Player of the Year honors in back-to-back seasons since Ralph Sampson did it at Virginia in the early 1980s. Edey has had seven games this season with at least 30 points and 10 rebounds — that’s utterly ridiculous. Purdue is 56-9 over the past two seasons with this guy as a focal point.
